Wood Street has worked with the sales and marketing team of Vintage Security on projects ranging from their WordPress website to their back office portal.

Wood Street has worked with Vintage Security on projects ranging from their front-facing WordPress website to their back off quote builder and project scheduling tool. We started working with Vintage Security years ago on their first custom WordPress website. After some time, Vintage approached Wood Street with a unique need. They needed a solution to replace their existing quote builder. What started as a custom quote builder has grown into a complete back office portal with client facing signature functionality and installer scheduling.

Challenges & Solutions

The challenge initially was a marketing and branding issue. Their old website just wasn’t working for them. It had a dated look and no CMS for any sort of content marketing campaign. Wood Street easily remedied that by creating an on-brand, custom WordPress website that Vintage could use to create unique content and use targeted calls to action to increase visibility and online inquiries.

The challenge for their back-office solution was more complex. Vintage Security was using a legacy quote builder system that did not scale well and was difficult for the salespeople to operate. They needed a web-based portal that allowed the sales team to easily work on proposals, system configuration, and scheduling from their laptops in the field. Wood Street created a browser-based web application with enhanced security that the sales, customer service, and management teams could all use from in the office or in the field.

The system is built using open source technology combined with proprietary signature capturing software so the Vintage client can signoff on proposals, project addendums, and scheduling documents. This solution has streamlined Vintage Security’s back-office operations all while using less paper and creating a more permanent project record, eliminating clerical mistakes from the past. And since the system is custom, it can be modified and improved as needed.
