Project Overview
Objective
ASTC, a Wood Street client for some time, asked us to develop something unique for their new service. COVES, or the Collaboration for Ongoing Visitor Experience Studies, is a transformative data service created by museum professionals for museum professionals. COVES helps museums be more effective and economically strong through collaborative collection, analysis, and interpretation of visitor experience data.
Solution
Wood Street designed and developed a custom, responsive, WordPress website solution. The talented designers at Wood Street also produced custom illustrations and animation, using JavaScript and CSS, to add life and excitement to the COVES website experience. Instead of a boring website, COVES is now a website that tells a story about the experience COVES aims to capture.
We developed a custom Google Map solution so users can easily access more information on a participating COVES site near them. We are currently working with ASTC to develop a database driven custom post type to display the results of the data collection and analysis.
