Objective
Elsco manufactures a comprehensive line of specialized elevator roller guides that are engineered to reduce noise and enhance ride quality. In order to maintain an edge over its competition, Elsco selected Wood Street to revamp its outdated web presence. The goal was to build a compelling new website that worked effectively as both a marketing tool and an information hub for its specialized product line. Because of Elsco’s focused market, it was essential to visually represent its product and client base from start to finish. Wood Street’s many years of experience in product promotion and customer conversion provided all the necessary tools to generate an effective product narrative for Elsco.
Solution
Pairing visual themes of office buildings and structural engineers with Elsco product images, Wood Street designed a bold, modern showcase that effectively communicates product function and intended audience. Three distinct user roles are clearly defined at the start, allowing users to choose the path that is most relevant to their needs. Each product in Elsco’s roller guide line has its own details page that provides important details, specifications and action items. For users who are unsure of their needs, Wood Street developed a guide selection tool that generates results based on the user’s requirements. The flow of the new website provides users with a smooth ride to where they want to go, which is very much in line with what Elsco’s roller guides guarantee.
