Wood Street Celebrates 17 Years in Business! And You Helped!

Wood Street is pleased to announce that today marks our 17th year in business. We started as a small partnership working out of two locations – a basement, and an attic.

But the collaborations started much earlier. The name “Wood Street” actually comes from the street in Frostburg, MD where the founding partners had shared a house while attending Frostburg State University.

Over the last 17 years, we’ve been refining our process and always working to be a better marketing, design, and development solution provider to our clients and partners. Today, Wood Street is one of the most sought after web design and development firms in the Washington, DC metro area. We’ve also grown our nationwide reach considerably with clients from coast to coast.

Our focus, since day one, has been on the user. Who will be using the website, app, interactive presentation, print materials, and so forth? And what are their needs? It’s this focus that has allowed us to not only grow and be successful but to be the kind of solutions provider that our clients need.

We don’t just build a website and disappear. We are continually consulting with our clients on how to use what we’ve built them to achieve their goals. Nothing is off the table when it comes to ideas of how to grow your marketing efforts.

Our job is to be a voice of reason in those discussions, being upfront and transparent about what is most effective and within budget. Our clients, our partner companies, and our colleagues have come to rely on us for real and actionable marketing advice. We look to always improve on that in the future.
