Wood Street Designer Nominated for Young Professional of the Year

Our very own David Porter is one of only five nominees for this year’s Frederick Chamber Generation Connect Young Professional of the Year Award.

Generation Connect will celebrate three years of making connections between local young professionals at the Third Birthday Bash and Networking Event.

Young professionals and Chamber members alike are invited to join the YP group on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn in Frederick. The event will also honor the first ever Frederick County Young Professional of the Year.

They will be presenting a donation to Hospice of Frederick County, the 2013 Charity of the Year, unveiling the 2014 Charity of the Year, and announcing the first ever Young Professional of the Year award winner. Additionally, they will collect food for the food bank, so please bring non-perishable goods to donate.
