Wood Street’s President, Jon-Mikel Bailey, accepted the Small Established Business Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the 2010 Entrepreneur Council of Frederick County Awards Banquet on June 23rd held at Dutches Daughter.
These awards have been given to various small businesses in Frederick County for the last 13 years. “It was an honor to accept this award last night;” remarked Mr. Bailey, “Wood Street was among some exceptional nominees so it was especially an honor to be chosen by the Council as a winner.”
On hand from the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce was President Ric Adams who had this to say about the award “, it is very obvious how proud you are of Wood Street and all your accomplishments – as you well should be. I am very happy for you and know how hard you and the Wood Street team have worked to get where you are today.”
The Council handed out 6 awards last night to Frederick County Business Owners. Keynote Speaker, History Channel Contributor and Nat. Civil War Medicine Museum Ex Dir George Wunderlich, summed up the importance of the Entrepreneur when he thanked all the nominees for their contribution to business and community in Frederick County.
